THE PLAYER
••• twenty-four years old; please be at least eighteen and over.
••• around 12+ years of experience, starting out on AOL (sshh!) with particular fandom characters and some original characters. moved onto celeb role-play on LJ, to message board/e-mail, and back onto GJ, where i began to pb before landing here on IJ.
••• operating on central standard time here. i'm on mostly in the evenings into the early hours of the morning. night owls, i'm looking for you! i do have a life, but whenever i'm available, i'm around and ready to play for long periods of time.
••• i happen to prefer using AIM for scenes - this is because i'm still not really used to threading, so i often forget to post. however, if you don't mind giving me a nudge to reply from time to time, then i'm more than happy to thread! AIM is just quicker for me.
••• oh, yeah. third-person, past tense is the way i roll. i focus on the quality of your writing, not necessarily the quantity (me, i average about a paragraph+ a post - sometimes i exceed it, sometimes not. i'll match whatever you've given me to work with).
••• right now, i'm sticking with pb. celeb doesn't interest me anymore, though i might be talked into faux-celebing for the right player or community.
THE STORYLINES
••• the darker the line, the better; i'm a sucker for exploring the dark underbelly of humanity. my characters do tend to have some sort of defect, whether its an addiction past or present, or some sort of mental disorder. don't worry, not all of my characters are mind-numbingly depressive junkies: actually, next to none of them are. i value character development almost more than anything, so i can promise you a well-thought out, multifaceted character.
••• i'm not too terribly interested in slash right now - maybe for the right player or line, but right now, i'm looking for femme and het lines. obviously, like most everyone else, i'd like my lines to have some substance. however, i will detail out mindless PWP fucking gladly and shamelessly -- or, i can fade to black just as easily! i'm open for discussion.
••• i'm also open for discussion concerning the faces i use for my played-bys - i'm definitely not limited to the ones i have listed here.
